Youtube Go Android app download

Even with ever-improving mobile data coverage and an increasing number of WiFi hotspots, it’s often still difficult to watch videos anywhere you’d like. This problem is especially prevalent in less-developed countries. Because of this, the YouTube team has created YouTube Go, an app that centers around saving videos to view later.

Yes, yes, Artem needs to clear his notifications.

YouTube Go was first announced back in September of 2016 with a promise that it would become fully public “early next year.” Essentially, it’s an offline and more social spin on the widely-used YouTube app – video previews load before downloading so that you can decide whether you’d like to watch or download that video, you can select the resolution and see how much space each resolution level will take before saving a video, and you can share your saved videos with friends via Bluetooth transfer.

Judging from our brief interaction with the YouTube Go thus far, it seems to be possible to watch and download most YouTube videos. However, you’re restricted to basic or standard quality; no 1080p or even 720p here, folks. During the initial phase, it requires you to enter your phone number and verifies it with a text in order to do some friend-finding later on, which is presumably similar to how Allo and WhatsApp operate. The verification process worked for Artem and Cody without a hitch, but Go refused to allow me to connect, even after multiple tries on multiple devices with multiple phone numbers.

If you want a bunch of free software that’s ad-free and secure, F-Droid is what you should check first. It’s an alternative app store that only includes “Open source” is a term that’s thrown around a lot these days. You may know that certain things are open source, like Linux and Android, but do you know what it entails? What is open…

You’re probably aware that Android is built in part on the Linux kernel, but the broader ecosystem isn’t exactly open source: the parts of Android most people interact with isn’t exactly libre. Of course, that doesn’t mean there isn’t open source software available for Linux – and F-Droid is where you can find it.

You’ll find hundreds of programs here, including newer versions of staples like VLC. It kinda feels like browsing  with all the pros and cons that come with that, but for mobile. It’s worth exploring.

Reliance Jio has been rumoured to launch budget VoLTE feature phones
Reliance Jio is rumoured to be planning the launch of 4G VoLTE-enabled feature phones, priced between Rs. 999 and Rs. 1,500. Now, an anonymous tipster has sent an image to Gadgets 360, said to be of a Reliance Jio VoLTE feature phone.

The Reliance Jio VoLTE feature phone image of the purported was not accompanied by any other details. All that’s visible in the Reliance Jio VoLTE feature phone leaked imaged is the presence of four buttons below the display and above the alphanumeric keyboard, corresponding to the MyJio, JioTV, JioCinema, and JioMusic apps, from left to right.

As per an earlier report, Reliance Jio is expected to use Spreadtrum chipsets for its 4G VoLTE feature phones, though the company was also said to be in talks with chip giants Qualcomm and MediaTek for low-cost 4G LTE enabled processors.
While the report had also tipped the presence of both front and rear cameras on the Reliance Jio 4G VoLTE feature phones, the image shared with Gadgets 360 doesn’t confirm this piece of information. Two Reliance Jio feature phones are said to be in development, but, no launch time-frame is available.

The entry of Reliance Jio into the Indian telecom sector has caused a massive upheaval, with rivals rushing to offer competitive plans, and smartphone manufacturers rushing to launch VoLTE-enabled smartphones.

Reliance Industries in its Q3 financial and operational performance report revealed Reliance Jio has over 72.4 million subscribers as of December 31, 2016 – gained in less than four months since launch of September 5. The company also revealed the Reliance Retail had sold 2.8 million Lyf devices and accessories in the quarter.
